Long time friends, Bandula Rathnapala and Dunstan Rozairo, grew up in hometown called Dehiwala and went to St. Mary's College Dehiwala known as the Boxing Mecca in Sri Lanka.  Dunstan has spent the the last 30 years in Dubai and Bandula in the USA as successful entrepreneur and business owners.  In 2016 they met in Dubai after  many  years to start this boxing journey together.  Dunstan helped Bandula transform Straight Jab Boxing into a more stable gym by becoming his partner. While Bandu helped Dunstan set up DJMC Boxing in Dubai to transform Dubai into a Las Vegas type of boxing hub by launching the Count Down to the Middle East Crown Boxing Series. They made history together by hosting series 5 in their homeland Sri Lanka as it was the first time ever a professional boxing event was hosted in Sri Lanka.

Straight Job boxing and DJMC Boxing fighers now have a gym to train in while in the USA and a platform in Dubai to showcase their talents on a professional stage.
